Sue Hunter is an independent creative writer with over 15 years of experience marketing to a broad base of industries: from secondary schools to higher education, financial institutions, historic preservation, corporations, health care organizations, trade associations, real estate, government agencies and consumer shows.
Some highlights. Sue has created over 24 higher educational and secondary school recruitment campaigns for national marketing agencies. She developed a comprehensive publications program for Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania. She developed and served as senior writer and managing editor of a medical executive magazine. She has written over 15 corporate profiles for trade and consumer magazines. She authored a history of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as well as the city guidebook, A Marmac Guide to Atlanta. She also has numerous journal articles to her credit and has recently ghostwritten a book on post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Previous to freelance writing, Sue was director of creative services for Stein Communications. And before Stein, she was president of a regional publishing company producing corporate and educational collaterals.
Sue earned her BA from Vassar College, MA from American University and completed her doctoral coursework at Emory University.
